Jack

Jack will be available for adoption for one day, Wednesday, August 7th from 12:00pm-4:30pm CT at Michiana Humane Society. Hopefully, he will find his new family, but if he does not receive an approved application, the next day that he will be available is TBD. We will update on social media. If you want to adopt, your first step will be to come to the shelter on Wednesday to meet him! You can read about our adoption policies and procedures here: www.michianapets.org/how-to-adopt. FYI: He will be neutered on Monday, August 12th and will be able to be picked up to go home by his approved adopter that same day. We think he is a little younger than three months old and we believe him to be a Newfoundland/Lab mix. Remember! We cannot guarantee a breed and can only give our best suggestion. But we do expect him to be quite large when fully grown! We always suggest puppy socializing and training classes so he can grow into a well-behaved, socialized adult. Here is what his foster mom wants you to know about him: "Jack is very affectionate. Very intuitive, also! He loves to play but also enjoys snuggles. He always wants to know what you are up to and will follow you around to see. He's just the best! He has been around our cat and dog. He shows a huge interest in them, but our pets haven't reciprocated the interest! He loves the water and splashing in a pool to cool off (or grab a drink)!"
