Jack

Jack / M / 1Y / 15lbs / Terrier mix / Fostered in Owen Sound Jack is a happy go lucky, social, cuddly and relaxed guy. He adores being with his people and getting all of their attention. He loves being outside lounging on the deck, going on walks, playing with his toys, chew sticks and snuggles on the couch. He gets very excited at bedtime and loves to cuddle up in bed with his foster. His foster mom says "My favorite thing is his cuddly nature. He can't wait to smother you with kisses and curl up beside you." Jack is house trained and is currently getting 4 potty breaks per day. He walks well on leash. He will occasionally bark at other dogs or joggers but is getting better with redirection. He goes on an hour walk per day plus playtime. He is working on crate training and being ok with being on his own. He will bark for about 20 minutes but does eventually settle. His foster has left him alone for an hour and is working on building up to longer. He has not shown any guarding issues. It's so cute when he rearranges the blankets and pillows on the bed for just the right place to sleep! He is medium energy. Jack is friendly when meeting new people. He warms up quicker to women. He is good with other dogs, with proper introductions, and kids. He hasn't been cat tested. He is looking for an active family who's home often.
