Izzy URGENT!!

This is a courtesy posting! Little IZZY (akaJessie) is being fostered at the Kern Co Shelter and needs a forever home! We would love to bring her into rescue if we could find a foster or foster to adopt home. Contact us if you could foster/adopt this little one. If you are in Kern Co and could adopt/foster, contact the shelter (info below). Here's little Jessie's story: IZZY/JESSIE came into the shelter at 5 weeks old along with her brother and mother. They all suffered from the URI they caught there, survived that, and Emerald (mom) and James (brother) were adopted leaving little Jessie (now Izzy) all alone. In addition to being there for two months with her little family, it just is NO place a darling little puppy to be growing up. Luckily a kind family in Kern County offered to foster her while rescue was found (they even gave up a family vacation to stay and keep her safe). They have started teaching her commands, and have housetrained her. She's playful with other dogs and likes kids too. At 4 months old now, she's all ready to find her forever home! **Mom is a 48lb. pitt bull mix with a very loving and kind personality. Jessie looks like she will certainly be a medium sized dog. She doesn't look anything like her mom though, more of a lab/shepherd. Jessie is uptodate on vaccines and spayed. Jessie has done well with the dogs she's met (except an older fellow who didn't appreciate her playful puppiness).
