Izzie - FOSTER or FOSTER to ADOPT

Fun-loving, big-hearted and extroverted, Izzie is a 1.5 yr old, 48# Border Collie mix who greets each day like it’s her birthday. She loves playing tug, fetch, and treats of any variety! Enthusiastic and energetic without being over the top. She wants to live an active life full of play, regular walks or hikes and time to use her nose on sniffaris. She thrives with attention and affection from her people. Never met a stranger. Sweet disposition. Relaxes nicely with a bone at the end of a fun day. A quick study and truly biddable, Izzie will excel in obedience classes and beyond. Tricks or just about any dog sport are right in her swim lane. Perfect medium energy. Excellent manners in the house. Crates and rides in the car like a pro. Fantastic walking and hiking companion. Thrives with a routine of daily exercise (mind and body) and play. Best with dog-savvy kids roughly 10+, and in a cat-free home. Izzie enjoys playful canine companions. She is best suited to dogs roughly her own size or bigger: her desire to play can be too much for small dogs. She would enjoy life as an only dog in the center of an energetic and engaged family. Once bonded with her new family, she’s a great fit for a rural setting - she is as Velcro as they come. Izzie is being fostered near Menominee, MI/Marinette, WI. Meet and greets with specific dogs are arranged once your adoption application (not an inquiry through Petfinder) has been received, processed, and approved. We are located in Minnesota and adopt to an area 400 miles from Minneapolis/St. Paul. Izzie's adoption fee is $450 + MN sales tax. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines.
