OUR ADOPTION PROCESS AND APPLICATION ARE AVAILABLE AT WWW.SOHODOGRESCUE.ORG. OUR ADOPTION FEE IS $300. Ivy is a super-sweet, super-happy young Border Collie who is available for adoption. She is 3 years old, she weighs 36 pounds, and she has a pretty red and white coat and full tail. Ivy is housebroken with wonderful house manners, she is crate-trained, and she knows a number of obedience commands. She walks pretty well on leash and she is a great car riding buddy. Ivy loves all people all the time! This high Velcro girl lives for the pets and praise she gets from the people around her. Ivy also loves other dogs and loves to play with other dogs. Ivy is a medium energy dog with a nice off switch. She loves to go for walks and hikes, play with her dog pals, splash and play in the water, patrol the yard for squirrels and rabbits, and of course, enjoy all the pets, attention and belly scratches that she can get. She is even good around cats! The ideal family for Ivy is loving, active, and ready for a new best friend to join them on all of their adventures. She may even have some talent as a sport dog! A fenced yard is required, and another playful dog pal would be welcome but not required as long as she has some dog pals in the neighborhood to join her on play dates. Any children in the home should be at least 10 years old and cats are fine with her. Ivy is a little athlete who is ready to show her new family that she is ready to run, swim, play and give kisses!
