Ivy

Ivy was found as a stray and brought to our shelter. She is super loving and absolutely loves people! She seems to be indifferent around other dogs, but would need a home with no cats. We think Ivy is a trained hunting dog, so she needs an outlet for her energy! She loves going outside here at the shelter, and would benefit from either a lot of land to roam or a secure fenced in yard! Ivy is gentle with people and would do great with kids! We think Ivy is more than 5-6 years old, but she doesn’t act it! She enjoys running outside, and also likes a nice nap once she’s done! We also believe she was potty trained at one time. She doesn’t have a mess in her kennel in the mornings, and she goes immediately once she gets outside! Ivy is not spayed yet, but will be before going home. However, we are taking applications for her now! Every dog adopted from Green Hills Animal Shelter is fixed, wormed, has age-appropriate vaccinations, and is tested for heartworm (if old enough). Dogs from GHAS will also come with a starter bag of Hills Science Diet dog/puppy food to get you started!
