My Story

Donate Dober Duds Ivy is a very petite, 45 pound fireball. She has spent the last 2 months in a boarding kennel due to a shortage of available foster homes. She received a wonderful present on her first birthday (6/28); a foster home became available. She is now looking forward to a belated birthday present, the best present of all....a permanent home of her own. Ivy is young and very distractable. Every person and animal catches her eye and gets her excited. She needs a family that will patiently teach her how to focus, follow commands (she is quite trainable) and make certain she has daily adequate exercise. She will do well in a home that can set limits and offer structure each day. She is crate-trained and should be crated at this point when unsupervised. She loves her toys and balls. She likes other dogs, but needs a tolerant playmate. A home with a fenced yard and no cats or children (which increase her exuberance) is required. With the right nurturing, Ivy will bloom and wrap around your heart! Ivy also has no connection to the Cubs and the wall in Wrigley Field, in case anybody was wondering. She says she is a Sox fan, and would do well in the outfield. Please contact Elaine at [email protected] or call 847-940-0499. Adoption Application
