Ivy

We have had Ivy in rescue since December of 2023 when she was just a pup. She had a severe prolapse and was surrendered by her owner. After a life-saving surgery, and 2 follow up procedures, she’s now 10 months old and so ready for a home to call her own! We understand the thought of adopting a special needs pup can be fairly daunting, but we’ve done the hard part for you! Ivy’s medical needs post-surgery were definitely akin to having a newborn baby. Schedules for her medicine, small meals throughout the day and weekly weigh ins….not to mention the meal prepping! Thankfully through trial and error we have a diet that works great for Ivy which is very manageable and she has no hindrances to leading a normal dog life! -Ivy is kid and dog friendly (we can cat test for approved adopter, but she has shown only mild curiosity towards cats at the vet which is a good sign) -Crate trained & potty trained -Walks well on a leash -Is the perfect size at 30lbs (she may be a few pounds bigger when full grown, but not much) -Is medium to low energy -Highly food motivated and knows basic commands!
