Ivy

Ivy came to us when her previous owner was no longer able to care for her. Initially Ivy was very scared and was growly and a bit snappy so the foster just let her come out on her own. By day 2 she was warming and by day 3 Ivy was approaching for more pets throughout the day and even got into her lap for a short snuggle and wanted attention from hubby. Approaching and meeting her needs to be on her time. She's definitely velcro enough to want to be close just not a cuddler (yet). Ivy is housebroken either with regular opportunities or a dog door, and is also leash trained. She loves car rides and travels well and also tolerates a crate in the home. She is not a picky eater and could stand to lose a little bit (22# and probably should be 17-18#). She has done well with her foster siblings and her original canine siblings and also a guest dog. She will need an ADULT ONLY home! Ivy is spayed, microchipped and current on vaccines. Ivy is 4.5 years old and will make a great family member for the right person or couple. She listens well and has excellent house manners. She is fostering in N. Phoenix and meet and greets will need to occur in the greater Phoenix area.
