Riverside Shelter, Jurupa Valley location, So Cal – ID #A1803044- “Ivory”- young chow/spitz breed mix girl, 36 lbs.
URGENT- HELP!!! THE RIVERSIDE SHELTER IS EUTHANIZING YOUNG ADOPTABLE DOGS AT AN ALARMING RATE AND WE DO NOT WANT THIS YOUNG GIRL TO BECOME ANOTHER STATISTIC LIKE THE OTHERS!
BEAUTIFUL IVORY IS LISTED AS A FEMALE CHOW X (MAY BE ANOTHER SPITZ BREED LIKE ESKIE) FOUND AS A STRAY WITH A SIMILAR DOG.
IVORY IS NOW AVAILABLE TO ADOPT SEPARATELY (OR TOGETHER IF YOU CAN) TO A LOVING, RESPONSIBLE HOME, BUT LIKELY NEEDS A FOSTER AND RESCUE (AND BOTH ARE EXPECTED TO BECOME URGENT AND AT RISK FOR EUTHANASIA SHORTLY THEREAFTER). RESCUE GROUPS NEED A FOSTER TO SAVE! Please contact the shelter directly with interest. If you need further help or to foster, please contact Robin
Help!! WE ARE LOOKING FOR A LOVING AND RESPONSIBLE HOME OR FOSTER AND RESCUE FOR IVORY as we have named her. She is listed as a 3 year old chow mix, found with a similar looking female dog listed as 4 years old and similar size.
Both dogs are not kenneled together and with other dogs and appear to be dog friendly. They can be adopted separately, or together if you prefer. Ivory is only 36 lbs. The other is 39 lbs.
Per the shelter, neither dog has any behavior or medical issues noted at this time. We have requested better pictures and video and will post those if we get them.
Unfortunately, because the shelter is so full, she and the other sadly can be euthanized for space in the next few days, or sooner if the shelter decides to red list either like they have with so many other young, adoptable dogs without warning for anything minor like a runny nose.
If you are interested in adopting Ivory, please contact the shelter immediately by calling (951) 358-7387 and reference her applicable ID and also use her listing link: https://24Petconnect.com/DetailsMain/RVSD/A1803044.
The shelter will schedule spay for an adopter. The other dog she was found with, Pearl, her listing is: https://24Petconnect.com/DetailsMain/RVSD/A1803047
If you are interested just to foster, or foster to adopt either dog, or if you need further help, please contact
[email protected] or Southern California Chow Chow Rescue Network as we are trying to find fosters we can then refer to a rescue group to save her/them.
If you are a rescue and interested in pulling this cutie, please email the shelter right away at:
