ADOPTED!
I came from a small shelter in Georgia, and for some unexplained reason nobody wanted to adopt me until a nice rescue group from very far away--in Wisconsin--saw my picture on Petfinder. They arranged to have me travel all the way across the country to them so that they could find the perfect home for me--because they say I'm the perfect little dog. I'm very polite, good with other dogs and cats, and I don't take up much room. (I only weigh about 8 lbs.). I'm about one year old, and my foster mom says I'm the cutest, most cuddly, loving dog she's ever met! I've had a good physical exam and I'm immunized, heartworm tested, microchipped, and spayed. So, as soon as my foster mom finds the perfect home for me, I'll be on my way to living happily ever after. Because of my small size, my rescue mom would prefer I not be adopted by a family with small children who might accidentally hurt me. She also hopes to find an adopter who just works part-time, works at home, or is retired so I won't have to be a latch key dog. (I'd make a great companion for an older person or couple.) A fenced in yard would be an extra plus (but no invisible fencing, please.) If you would like more information about me, please e-mail Marti at:

read more about our rescue's adoption policies and fees. We do not operate a
humane society or shelter, so we do not have a facility that is open to the
public. Our dogs are fostered by volunteers in private homes, and are not
available for viewing until an adoption application is filled out and references
are checked. Please read the information on our home page (by clicking on our
rescue name below this dog's photo) before contacting us.
