Hey there, my name is Island! I was hand selected for K9's For Warriors service dog program from Humane Society of Central Texas and passed all my initial tests with flying colors! Since arriving at K9's in February of this year, I've decided I would rather be a family companion over having to work for a living. I am a social butterfly - I love every person I meet and have so much love to give when I meet them! My favorite is giving kisses and getting belly rubs, it is the quickest way to my heart. Toys? Oh boy, do I love them! The ones that squeak really get my tail wagging. If you are looking for a silly, sweet, and adventuring kind of gal, look no further because you've found the one! I am spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and eagerly waiting for my forever home.
