Isabella is a playful girl who takes a minute to warm up to you but once you give her that grace, she is a cuddle-bug. She loves, loves, loves to run and is Roadrunner fast. She is a strong "tug" player and entices other dogs around her to play chase, wrestle and other active games. Her story? She was born in Mexico and had the good fortune to land with an experienced Oregon NWAC foster family, retired and now living in Mazatlan. When they traveled back to Oregon to visit family, they brought her along and surrendered her to Northwest Animal Companions (NWAC) with the goal of finding her a loving, forever home. Because she was placed with them when she was four weeks old, she has had good vet care and was raised with a canine mentor in an experienced, dog-savvy family. What she has not experienced is socialization which makes her shy in unfamiliar situations. We are looking for a home with a calm, 2-7 year old dog who is looking for a play companion.
