Meet Isabella! Isabella is a 6 1/2 year old German Shepherd mix. Originally adopted from us 3 years ago, Isabella came back to us through no fault of her own - her family is dealing with some tragic circumstances and asked us for help. The family reported that she loyal dog who loves attention and needs regular exercise. She is leashed and crate trained. In her prior home she also lived with kids and other dogs. While she plays well with other dogs, she can get a bit territorial with unknown dogs so at this time, she would prefer home with no other dogs. She loves fetch and running around with toys. Isabella is a sweet and happy girl that deserves to find the best home possible. Isabella was adopted shortly and returned right away because she was not comfortable in the home with two high energy kids. She was not given the chance to decompress or slowly meet the family. We believe that with proper slow introduction, especially as she is a total rock star with kids at events, she would be fine but she needs time to adjust. Isabella would prefer to be an only dog at home.
