The back story is sad. Both mama and her puppy were found wandering and picked up by animal control. It was reported that there were 3 other puppies with her at one point, but they have not yet been located.
This is Iris. She looks to be approximately 2 years old. She has an ear chewed partially off but is otherwise in good condition physically. She has had a hard life. You can tell that her story is a sad one. We intend to change that. She weighs 60lbs. Her mix is uncertain. She is friendly and sweet and definitely needs love and comfort. We know very little else about Iris at this point.
