(The good part): Meet Irene, 25 pounds of perfect Beagle! We estimate her age to be about 3 years old. We don't think she has ever lived in a house before but is adapting to the cushy indoor life quite well. She walks well on a leash and loves to get her sniff on! She enjoys meeting other dogs on walks but can be timid at first - a little reassurance goes a long way! Once she has a quick warm up, Irene really enjoys playing with the other dogs in the foster home. We think she'd enjoy a home with another dog so she always has a bestie around. Foster mom says, "She's a funny, goofy girl! Sometimes she loves to run in circles around the room and have you pretend to chase her. You can't come at her too quickly though or she gets scared. She does NOT like loud noises or a water hose, and the vacuum sends her hiding. But above everything else, she loves to be around her people. She is a very sweet girl."
Irene's adoption fee is $350, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, spay, and microchip.
