My Story

Name: Ingrid Approximate breed: Lab mix Gender: Female Approximate age: 5 months Approximate weight: 31+ lbs Vetting/Vaccinations: Up to date Spayed/Neutered: No Good with Children: Unknown Good with Dogs: Yes Good with Cats: Yes, dog-savvy Housetrained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes Ideal Family: Any Adoption Fee: $575 Ingrid is part of the Viking Litter that was found abandoned in the street down south. Luckily a kind human found and fostered them until he could connect to a rescue. NELR is happy to find them their forever homes in beautiful New England! They all look very similar but there are 6 girls and one boy. They are typical happy puppies that are full of life and want to enjoy every day to the fullest! They love to play in the water and would adore homes with access to at least a kiddie pool. Ingrid has been doing great with potty & crate training and learning house manners. She's been getting used to leash walking, but she's still young so any training is a great way to form a bond and communication with your new family member. She's happy to play with her doggy toys and thinks fetch is great! Ingrid listens well and understands 'no.' She gets along well with other dogs and loves getting time to play. She's playful, lovable, curious, and sweet. Are you missing puppy love in your life? Fill out an adoption application today! https://us09b.sheltermanager.com/service?account=hz1473&method=online_form_html&formid=24 All of our available adoptable dogs are on Facebook, Petfinder, and our website. If a dog is no longer listed it means they have an adoption pending. We are a nonprofit organization - all adoption fees go towards the rescue, veterinary care, and transportation of these dogs in order to get them ready for their forever homes. We are a shelterless rescue. All of our dogs are housed in foster homes to help them de-stress and get used to a home environment while they await adoption, giving us the opportunity to understand their personalities and needs. Ready to Adopt? The next step is to fill out our Adoption Application. A volunteer will contact you to review your application and see if your family might be the right match.
