Inez

Inez is a delightful young senior gal with a happy, affectionate personality and lots of pep in her step still. We rescued her out of Clackamas County Dog Services. - 10.5 pounds and approximately 10 years old - Possibly a Chihuahua/Rat Terrier mix - Great with other dogs - Likely fine with cats - Loves all people and is especially affectionate towards men - Kids 10+ ok since she is small and would appreciate gentle, calmer kiddos - Enjoys cuddling and will lie on your chest and rest her little head against your neck. She also likes to use her nose to encourage you to pet her. It's very cute! - Walks excellent on leash and not a puller. No leash reactivity. - Doesn't enjoy the crate but can do ok home alone outside the crate - Good for car rides and does not get car sick - Potty habits have been pretty dialed in with just one accident in foster in the week she has been with us. - Whomever had Inez previously must have really loved her and treated her pretty well. She doesn't appear to have lingering trauma and is a happy-go-lucky little dog who is confident and social. Inez does have a hernia that we are having repaired at our vet on August 9th (this was the soonest available surgery date) but she can meet potential adopters in the meantime. Her go home date would be after August 9th. Inez is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, dewormed, bloodwork good, dental cleaning completed July 2024 and she is current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
