This dog is currently out of state but will be transported to New England shortly with no additional travel costs. The long distance adoption process includes talking to the foster they are living with in the south. Thank you!** Meet the IDOL puppies! These sweet babies were found in the woods without their momma. They were in pretty bad shape but are all now healthy, happy, and ready to find their forever family! Since coming into our care, they have received so much love, food, water, and special medicated baths - although the pups weren't too happy with that part. Indy Idol is about 4 months old, and weighs around 15 pounds (as of 7/30/24). We are guessing that she and her siblings are Hound / Anatolian Shepherd mixes - but either way, we know they are 100% cute!! So how have the Idol pups been looking for families for more than a month now?? Their foster shares: "They are such a happy and fun group of puppies! Izzy can be a bit shy, but opens up to us more and more each day. This girl loves being held and enjoys being the center of attention - just look at her pictures (LOL)! She and her siblings all have wonderful attitudes and are very 'go with the flow'. They love to play, eat, and get all the love and attention they can. They will need a family committed to puppy training, and will need stimulation so they don't get bored. We'd recommend an active family given their breed - and ideally a fenced in yard with acreage, if possible. These pups are ready to explore the world and can't wait to meet their forever families!" It is most likely that both their parents were strays and even if not, mixes of some sort and that their grandparents were mixes as well. The dog may have some genetic material of an American Staffordshire Terrier (pit bull). The dogs are usually mixes of many breeds, making them a breed all their own - a True and adorable American MUTT. If you are interested in this dog, you must submit an application.
