Indy is estimated to be 3 years old and is 55lbs. Meet our sweet boy we call Indy. While he’s not a great dane, but he does have some resemblance to Scooby-Doo. He has expressions such as “Ruh-roh” and “Who me” which are some of Scooby’s well-known phrases. Indy does have some exuberant outburst at times, but a nice long walk, exploring the area, a hike, or even a great game of tennis ball fetch gives him that exercise that he needs. Need a snuggle buddy for those Netflix nights? Well, you’re in luck. He loves to snuggle too. You would hit the jackpot with this sweet boy as he’s the best of both worlds. Indy’s in a foster home where he has 4 other canine sisters. He loves to play but would also do well as the only pup in the house. If you like to take walks, throw tennis balls in the backyard, and snuggle, you have a friend for life. Indy Cliff Notes…. Pros – you’ll always have a walking/hiking buddy and an expert cuddler. Cons – You’ll never win at the tennis ball game or tug of war. Oh and, he likes to bark at the lawnmower; especially when it’s off, as an intimidation move. PRIVATE MEET & GREETS: Submitting an adoption application is required before a private meet & greet will be scheduled. We will complete a pre-screening first to make sure that the dog you are interested in is a good fit for you. That way, we don't unnecessarily waste your time or the foster's time. Our adoption fee is $300 and includes all age appropriate vaccines, spay or neuter and microchipping. All of our rescue dogs are heart worm tested annually beginning at 9 months of age, and they are kept on monthly heart worm and flea preventatives. The breed and age included in this listing is based upon the opinion of a vet that has examined the dog. We cannot confirm the age of the dog unless the dog was born in the care of the rescue. We are located in the metro Atlanta area. We currently do not allow out of state adoptions as a home check is required as part of the adoption process.
