Indie??
Another pup we pulled from the euthanasia list for space. Couldn't let this love die for no room for her. ? Note in her pictures she always seems to be wearing a smile! ? She is 70 lbs and just over a year old. We do need someone to welcome her to a home now though. She will be arriving Saturday April 27th on transport. If anyone would be willing to step up for this girl please let us know as soon as possible. She is available for adoption. Fosters always in need as well. Below is information from her foster in TX.
Behavior
General: Indie is AMAZING! She's super smart, funny, quirky, energetic (a yard would be GREAT), loving, happy, and playful puppy. She will make you smile daily. She loves to just hang out with you, play with other dogs, and eat peanut butter or chicken as treats. Indie is a free-spirit and doesn't like to be crated. She will escape, so it's best if she is left out to roam in a home. She does spectacular with being left out in a room. She also REALLY loves people, and she will be the perfect greeter for visitors.
Training: Indie knows the sit command, and she is potty-trained. I leave her out in the bathroom, and she hasn't had any accidents. She is learning to not pull on the leash but sometimes moderately pulls when it's her potty time.
Dog-friendly: She may be dog selective while leashed. However, when she vibes with a dog, they will be the best of friends. She plays with my boyfriend's 70-lb Lab for hours and hours.
Cats: She doesn't seem to mind cats. There was a cat in the office during her pick-up, and she was indifferent to her.
Separation Anxiety: Indie loves to be free and with her human. She will whine quietly in her crate and try to escape, where possible. She would prefer being left out of the crate (DOES AMAZING OUT OF THE CRATE). If she has to be crated, she will need a XL airport crate or heavy duty crate (no wires). She's a great dog to hang around the house, so that would be preferred and perfect for her.
