My Story

Meet Incredible Edna! When Edna was brought to CARE, she was so scared, in pain, and hesitant. She was not walking on her right front leg, which was swollen all the way down to her toes. Edna got pain meds right away, and later her x-rays showed that she had severe tissue swelling and a reaction along the outside of her bones. We found out later that she was hit by a car and was seen by neighbors to be staying in an abandoned porch for days, which explains the swelling of her right front leg. Today, lovely Edna is on the road to recovery in a foster home and eager to find her forever family. She is putting on some weight, her coat is shinier and her skin is healing. Incredible Edna has energy to go on her rounds outside, and to visit up-and-down stairs. Her foster mom says that her disposition (and her baby face) is so sweet. She is small-sized, and she loves getting into the car (so much that sometimes she doesn't want to come out!). She's a very sweet and funny little girl and she answers to her name. This playful and grateful girl has a spunky personality that will surely bring joy to your home. Meet Edna today and be a part of her healing journey.
