Ila

Sweet Ila has been with us since the end of August 2023, when she was found dumped in a park with two other dogs. Luckily, she's spent much of her time here in a foster home, which spares her the stress of the shelter and gives us much needed information to find her the perfect new home! Ila is a super smart girl who is eager to please, a quick learner, food motivated, and takes her treats gently like a lady, making her a joy to train. She already has very good recall, meaning she comes when you call her, so her new family won't have to start from scratch on teaching one of the harder basic commands!! She's also already potty trained, crate trained, and has wonderful leash manners making it possible to simply enjoy your evening stroll without being pulled or having to stop to correct unwanted behaviors. Could she be any more perfect??? YES!! Ila loves other dogs and was always super playful in her play groups. She's an excellent co-pilot and quite enjoys a car rides...especially those special trips with a Starbucks stop! Ila can be shy at first, and takes sometime to warm up to people, but once she does, she's a total affectionate love bug!! She adores snuggling with her human, whether it's on the couch or under the covers in bed. If you're looking for the perfect dog, look no further!
