Ruger is 7 -- isn't he adorable? He's a dog that loves his toys and space to run -- leash walking and dog sports aren't his thing. Ruger is content to enjoy the sunshine and comfy furniture.
Ruger is sweet and loves to be petted -- he is calm most of the time and doesn't ask for much, aside from some affection. Ruger has perfect recall and will sit on command. He is friendly with people and playful with most dogs.
It's been a while since Ruger lived in a home...he was in a hunting kennel and has been at a training facility for a while. Ruger will need to work a bit on housetraining but can easily relearn it. He will be most successful in a home with a doggy door, or a patient human willing to spend the time helping him readjust. We'd like Ruger to have a fence -- Ruger wants to ensure he has humans who love him and scratch his ears, a couch to lay on, and sunshine.
Ruger is UTD, on HW preventative, neutered and microchipped. He can be transported up to 1400 to his perfect match!
