My Story
Hi everyone! This is Teri , Ike's foster mom talking....This is an updated picture and bio for Ike. He has been with me for several weeks, but has been in the SOS system for quite awhile. He was found roaming the streets of Akron with his yellow lab mate, Tina, and their litter of puppies. SOS took in the whole family. The puppies went first, Tina (a beautiful yellow lab) went next, and now Ike's the only one left. I decided to update Ike's bio, not because there are any changes, but because I was afraid the past picture and bio didn't serve this boy well enough. Ike is a strapping 67 pound , 2 year old black lab. He may be a mix, but looks all black like a lab. Ike is COMPLETELY housebroken (which is such a blessing!), is great with kids, wonderful with other dogs, gentle with cats, travels beautifully in the car, and is considered a lovebug!!!!! Also, another huge perk is that he is AMAZING in the crate during the day while I am away at work. Even when we're home he'll get into his crate and sit so quietly. His cutest pose, as you can see, is his belly up, no worries in the world, rub my tummy, see if you can get close enough without me kissing you, and love me all night long pose!!!! We adore this dog! IF you are looking for the loving lab personality, please consider this young boy....I don't think that any family would regret this decision!!!! If he isn't what you're looking for, find the nearest lab lover and spread the word!!! He's a keeper! With all our hearts, thank you for helping to save lives!!!!
