My Story

Intake Date: 12 January 2024 ------ Adopted 24 February 2024 ------ Returned to Rescue: 1 June 2024 -------- Age at Original Intake: 7 weeks ----- Breed: GSD mix with ??? ----- Size: expected 45-55 lbs ----- Status: Pound Pull ----- Compatible with: Dogs, cats, children. ----- Suitable for: home with a fenced yard ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: none noted ----- Additional Notes: Welcome Iclyn! She is gorgeous and the tiny one of the family, for now. And has such a sweet personality. She came to rescue with her mom, North, and 4 siblings in -53 temps. So their names are all corresponding to the weather and we are calling them the Winter Pups! If considering adoption, remember, this is an 18 year commitment and they deserve to be a part of their family for the duration. Puppies are not temporary. Iclyn is a beautiful pup. She is higher energy and will need an active owner. She is also young but so smart and easy to train. Iclyn is mouthy like a shepherd so we are working on that. She would do best with children 7+. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption is finalized at that time. Adoption fee is $175 and all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are not guaranteed but often a best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. If a yard is present, a secure fence is prioritized.
