Hunter has found his forever home with the Kuppens family of Walpole!
UPDATE 10/27: Hunter was adopted but returned within a week due to a sudden change in his adopter's work hours (to 12 hour days). His adopter is heartbroken to have to return him. Hunter is a great boy! and is being fostered in Walpole, MA
Hunter and his brothers and sisters are terrier mixes. We thought they might have some jack russell terrier in them but Hunter is not a high energy pup like a true JRT, so he is clearly a mix of a mix. He is just adorable, and sweet. He is 14 weeks old and weighs 10 pounds. This litter was abandoned by the side of a road in the middle of a storm. Luckily for them, they were found by a kind utility worker and brought to one of our rescue angels. They are playful, friendly puppies who love to romp with their foster family. They love their treats and their toys. All have been started on house and crate training. They love other dogs and are fine around cats. Their adoption fee is $350.
Please complete an
online APPLICATION if you wish to adopt. Forever Home Rescue New England is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
We are a network of foster homes in the South and the New England area. THERE IS NO SPECIFIC SHELTER LOCATION. If you wish to meet our dogs, you must first be approved by going through our application and screening process.
Forever Home Rescue suggests obedience training for all puppies and dogs. All dogs are up to date on their shots, dewormed and spayed or neutered. Vet fees, transport fee and New England quarantine fees ARE INCLUDED in each dog's adoption fee. Also, any dogs older than pups--even if they are not marked housetrained in their posting---usually housetrain within a day or two, because most are used to living outside in the south and will prefer to "do their business" outdoors.
