Now in foster care with Speaking of Dogs Rescue
Meet Hunter, a 20-month old German Shepherd Dog who was abandoned in an apartment by his owner. It is quite baffling how anyone could abandon him as he is the smartest dog ever!!! He seems to think he is human and there is nothing he can't do. He is quite vocal and holds conversations with people! He is very affectionate and constantly looks for approval. His facial expressions will melt your heart. Hunter is playful and extremely dog-friendly. He "shares" well. As far as we know Hunter has not been around young children. He does need a little work on leash walking but he is learning fast. He is house-trained. He would make a great addition to any dog-friendly family.
