Meet Hunter! This 16 pound, 6 month old Lab mix is looking for his forever home. He is one of the sweetest puppies you will ever meet. It takes Hunter some time to warm up to his people but when he does, the endless kisses and tail wags are at the ready! When he isn’t playing with his favorite squeaker toy, you’ll often find him trying to find the best spot to sun bathe in whether it is on the couch or he’ll make himself incredibly comfy right next to a window so he can feel the warmth. Hunter is learning how to walk on a leash (very much in progress) and would love spending time at a local park, taking a quick walk around the block or even sitting at a restaurant with some other doggy friends eating pup cups. His big brown eyes and floppy ears are quite irresistible. When you’ve come home from a long day at work and you want to sit down to watch your favorite Netflix movie, Hunter will be there resting his head on your lap begging for some pets. Hunter, along with 5 of his other siblings were abandoned in a rusted, dirty, crate outside of the gates by our sister shelter in Puerto Rico. With an already over-crowded shelter, there was only one thing to do and that was to make sure that each puppy got some much needed TLC, food and extra cuddles so that they could have their chance at the best forever home.
