The mother of Hunt and his 5 sisters showed up on a local acreage in January and moved into a spot under their barn. Apparently she was pregnant but the people living there didn't know until the puppies showed their faces from under the barn one day. The family is now moving and can't keep the dogs so brought them to MLDHS to find them homes. Hunt is a very sturdy puppy and will be a large dog once he's fully grown. He's black but has a tinge of brown to his fur. His mother is Oreo who you should find on our site here for adoption and soon to be moved to Happy Tails. 2 of 5 of Hunt's sisters have also been adopted. Hunt is a friendly, playful puppy who gets along with people of all ages and has been an outside dog in his previous home (so is not house trained at this time). He's also been around other dogs and cats on his acreage home. Our dog adoption fee is $150 which includes spay/neuter, shot, rabies shot and microchip. Puppies that are not old enough to be spayed or neutered prior to adoption will require a $300 refundable (upon proof of surgery) spay/neuter deposit.
