Hugo is a very sweet, special boy that was rescued from deplorable conditions where he was being neglected and living in filth
Hugo is 11 years old and has spent his life living either outside or for the past year in a garage! He was never cleaned, and had to walk ontop of filith and feces everyday because his senior owner could no physically care for him.
Hugo was skin and bones when we rescued him, his nails had grown into his paws, and he had nearly gone blind due to infection in both his eyes. He was covered in filth and had clumps of dirt and feces in his hair his collar was caked with filth, but the first thing the old guy did when he got out was wag his tail
Sweet old man, hadn't seen the light of day in months and was being fed whatever his owner had left over and he was just happy to be held and pet
Hugo is still healing after his neuter, as he had some complications clotting. But is on the mend. He is mostly blind he gets around well seeing some shadows and smelling. He has to be on eye meds for the rest of his life to keep the tissue moist and fight off any other infection.
Hugo is good with other calm dogs, he is weary of dogs that are larger than him or very active because he cannot see well and it spooks him
Hugo is good being in our office he lets us know when he has to go out and needs to use the bathroom, he moves slowly but always finds that special spot once he gets out.
hugo needs a little more time to heal but should be able to go home soon. He needs a home that could spend alot of time with him and pamper him the way he deserves. Hugo is 11 years old. His adoption fee is 150.00
Please Note:We do not allow the public back in our kennels as they are completly indoor and have no air conditioning. Often times the kennel is humid and warm and having strangers walk in and out of the kennel all day is disruptive and upsetting to many of our dogs.
If their is a dog you are particualrly interested in we will have a staff memeber bring the dog out for you to interact with as long as we feel the dog would be a good fit for your home
Our dog pens at now complete dogs canbe able to be viewed outside (weather pending) till 5. We thank you for understanding and helping us keep our dogs as happy and well adjusted as possible.
