Huey

Hi, my name is Huey! I love people and although i can be exhuberant at times, I do settle down once my energy is exerted. I would do best in a home with adults and teenagers. I tend to be protective of my home and need to learn that I am not in control in the house and therefore don't make the rules. I love to run and do belly flops in large puddles and then run some more! I would love an active family who enjoyed the outdoors, perhaps with some teenagers who will walk me alot. I cant wait to attend training classes to help me learn I am not the boss and keep my active mind and body engaged. I prefer to be the only pet so I can get all the attention.Please stop by and meet me during Open Hours!

If the dog is available and a possible match, you will be contacted by an Adoption Counselor who will review your lifestyle, expectations, and experience and guide your selection of the most appropriate pet. SARL reserves the right to refuse to adopt to any applicant. By requesting information on an animal and initiating the screening process, it is not a guarantee that particular animal is yours to adopt. SARL does not place our pets on a "first come, first served" basis. We only adopt to local candidates who are able to visit our shelter and never ship any of our pets regardless of the suitability of the prospective home.
