Meet Hudson, a charming 10-year-old male who has come a long way from the euthanasia list at AHS. Tall and lean, Hudson weighs 13-14 lbs and is ready to find his forever home! Hudson is a friendly and loyal companion who loves to be near his person, always eager to help out. He is mostly house-trained and will notify you when he needs to go out. While he might need a bit of work on the leash, he is a quick learner and enjoys being close to his human. Hudson prefers a home where someone is around often, as he loves to follow his person around. Hudson does experience minor anxiety, but it greatly reduces once he settles into his new environment. Like many senior dogs, he enjoys a good amount of sleep and is content to relax by your side. Training & Behavior: Mostly house-trained (will notify when needed) Needs a bit of work on leash training Prefers someone who is home often Loves to be near his person and is always eager to help Experiences minor anxiety but it reduces once he settles in Sleeps a good amount, as many senior dogs do Health: Improved health since rescue Persistent intermittent cough (diagnosis ongoing) Cataracts Recently had dental cleaning and neutering Not currently on any medications Hudson has shown remarkable improvement since joining the rescue, and with a little extra care and attention, he is sure to thrive in his new home.
