My Story

Hoyt is a 6.5 month old, neutered male Great Pyrenees Border Collie cross pup (who looks quite like a small Newfoundlander). He's a friendly outdoor dog who was surrendered by his owner because he would wander off their acreage following their basset hound and her nose, often ending up on the highway in traffic. Due to this unsafe situation, the owners have surrendered Hoyt and he should go to a place where he can be confined in a fenced area or tied out when alone in the yard. Living on an acreage far from the highway may also keep him closer to home, particularly if any other dog living with him does not tend to wander. He is good on a leash though has not had any formal obedience training. He is friendly with all people, including children and has previously lived with other dogs and cats. He loves to play with other dogs as you will see in the video clips. Hoyt would love to find a new home as soon as possible.                                                                                                                                                       See several more short video clips of Hoyt on youtube.com at the following links: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tDFa1OVE574 AND http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wpSLqorA7ak AND http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8S9rF9eSPAg AND http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AV9x13sUxDk AND http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EG5SvIaTPwE AND http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9NMZUFG1Ps and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZAI1hobl3I and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=msJOtpcaVGI AND http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UVpowF45ZwQ                                                                                                                                                       Our organization offers 24PetWatch microchips, which include free registration into the 24PetWatch pet recovery service.
