Howdy

Say howdy to Howdy! A volunteer called Howdy her new favorite because he's such a lover. When she took him for a walk he was so wiggly and just melted into her arms for attention. Another volunteer said Howdy is playful and bouncy, loves to cuddle and is an obedient boy who knows his sit and paw command. Check out Howdy's big, ole smile in his photos. Could he be any cuter? Now come down to the shelter and sign on to make Howdy your best pardner!! He recently went out on Dog for a Day and this is what his foster said about him: "Howdy loved walking in the park (he has the cutest waddle), racing around the yard, playing with toys, and soaking on the splashpad, but his favorite part was all of the ear rubs and butt scratches. Howdy says, "Hi!" to everyone, including kids. An empty lap is an open invitation. His gleeful sociability extends to other dogs, although not to squirrels. He is house-trained and, when asked, will "sit", "shake", and "down". He politely waits to get onto the sofa until invited to do so, although he jumps up with abandon when given petmission. He is likely crate-trained because he will happily follow a Milk Bone anywhere.
