He is gorgeous and unique! Look at that face! Houston was a stray picked up by Animal Control and rescued by CARES when his time was up. He is about a year old and weighs about 60#. He is a mixed breed boy with lovely markings!
With his thick coat, he a great dog for a person who loves the outdoors in winter. He is a pretty easy-going guy, sometimes too easy-going, not wanting to always come in when called. He's learning.
He is crate trained and we don't know if he is house trained. He gets along with other dogs and children. He is pretty submissive.

This dog's adoption fee is $250 (plus tax). This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies (if over 4 months old), Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (if over 7 months old) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if the fee ends in a 5), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.
