My Story

DACHSHUND/BASSET...........MIX/STANDARDfostered in LEWISBURG, TNCOAT.......................SMOOTHCOLOR......................BLACK/TAN..DAPPLEAGE........................10WEIGHT.....................40 LBSADOPTION FEE...............100.00 or 'A DONATION'CONTACT DIANE AT [email protected] shelter contacted us about a stray dachshund that needed to be rescued. Hoss Man was that Dachshund. He is the biggest dachshund, we have ever seen! He is likely a Basset/Dachshund mix. When we took him to the vet to get him neutered and vaccinated, we found out that he was heartworm positive. He was treated for the heartworms and then developed a problem with his neck. He has completed his steroid treatment and is now ready to go to his new home. If you are looking for an incredibly friendly dog that loves everyone and wants to be your couch potato, then Hoss Man is the dog for you. Because he is not allowed to jump he loves sleeping in a doggie bed next to your bed at night. Please don’t let Hoss Man stay in foster care too long; given a second chance at a family to call his own this boy will repay you each and every day with love and devotion beyond your wildest dreams. Please fill out an application to adopt Hoss Man.
