Hopper is somewhat timid underneath his outgoing social behavior. When overly scared he may attempt to nip. He is only 7 months old and it is felt that with exposure to lots of experiences and someone to guide his behavior in a positive direction he can grow out of this. Hopper would not currently be a good dog for young children. He walks well on a leash, and knows the command "sit". He loves cats and other dogs. Hopper's previous owner states that Hopper is housebroken and neutered. Hopper entered the shelter on 5/21/08. He comes with a free "Training Your Adopted Dog" DVD.
