She is absolutely too cute! Hope is about 6 months old (born about August 2007) and is a mix between a beagle and basset hound. She was an owner surrender to a shelter in Missouri because the owner had a heart attack and could no longer care for his dogs.
Hope is kinda shy at first but has warmed up nicely. She didn't know how to walk on a leash at first, but is learning that, too. She just likes to be outside sniffing everything--typical hound. She is a cuddler, she could be held all day! She will need a fenced in yard to be happy and safe.
Hope is crate trained and is not yet house trained, but it is being worked on. She is fine with other dogs, cats and kids.
Who wants to give Hope the home she deserves?

This includes being spayed/neutered, current on Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella vaccinations, wormed, microchipped with the HomeAgain microchip, heartworm tested (negative) and medicated during the heartworm season (May-Dec) while in our care, comes with a Gentle Leader headcollar (if the fee ends is a 5), and is currently learning Basic Obedience commands and good doggie manners.
