Hooper

Hooper is HAPPY! There's always a wiggle in tail, a bounce in his step, a glimmer of joyful mischief in his eyes... Hooper just lights up when we come near, and if we happen to have a toy... WOOHOO!!! BEST! DAY! EVER!!! What amazes us isn't how happy Hooper is (very), but that he is determined to stay happy, and to spread happiness, despite being desperately lonely and bored at the shelter. Hooper had a loving home (and excellent house manners!), but the other dog in the family was NOT happy with Hooper's presence, and constantly attacked him. Eventually, the nonstop aggression became too much for Hooper, and the family brought him back to Animal Aid. Now this sweet, healthy, smart, HAPPY hound is confused about why he lost his couch and soft bed and hikes and belly rubs by the TV. He'd really like that back.
