All Planned Pethood dogs and puppies are altered (spayed/neutered) and fully vetted prior to adoption. Dog breed is a best guess by the vet and/or Petfinder breed expert findings. We cannot guarantee breed, weight, age of dogs or final adult size of puppies.

Hooch is approximately 2 years old, 63 pound male Brittany Spaniel/Lab mix. He loves to play with rope toys by himself or in a group. He has a nice, gentle personality and listens fairly well. Items we are working on with Hooch include getting into the trash when we leave and trying to take items off the counter. He will not do any of this when you are home, only when he is alone with the other dogs. He adapts himself well to whatever dog he is playing with. He is gentler with smaller and older dogs and plays rougher with younger and more healthy dogs. Tug-of-war is a favorite game of his. Once we caught him in the large part of the yard but we did not see him get over the fence so we are unsure if he climbed or jumped. He has not done it since. Hooch wants to find a forever home so he can have his own place in a family. He has adapted to ours very well
