The name is Honu and I was a trapped dog from Rye. I was brought in and have had lots of love and TLC during my stay here with new shelter friends to treat my skin. I have a skin condition called hereditary, follicular, dysplasia, and it’s not contagious and it doesn’t harm me in anyway. My skin is a little more bumpy than a regular dog. But hey! It makes me unique in my own way and my vet even told me it's a feature, not a flaw. So I'm going to take that in and begin my new journey looking for a loving home to help me "just keep swimming." I absolutely adore play time and any human connection that I can make.
