She was transferred to us from a local shelter, due to her diagnosis of Heartworm Disease. She is currently being treated and we're expecting a full recovery. Honey is a very friendly and high energy dog. She will require an adopter with a fenced yard, so she can have plenty of room to exert energy on and off leash. Due to her breed, we will only consider those who own their own home as potential adopters. Although Honey loves children, she might be too rambunctious for small children. Children over 12 would be ideal. Honey hasn't had the opportunity to have 1-on-1 contact with other dogs or cats while she's been with us, so to err on the side of safety, she would need to be introduced slowly and cautiously if you have other pets at home.
