Honey-Adopted

Honey is a small shih tzu - maltese mix at about 8 pounds. She is very sweet but sort of shy still. She seems to like other dogs and is a happy girl but doesn't seem to have learned things like going up and down stairs yet. Her foster home is working with her to learn lots of fun new things like "sit". As Honey has just arrived, we will post more about her as we learn about her. She is in the process of getting her shots and being spayed. We are accepting applications for her adoption now but she will not be available to actually be adopted until after she is spayed. We do not place dogs in homes with toddlers and babies. Please read the shelter home page for placement restrictions prior to submitting an application.
Our Adoption fees are based on the age of the dog and range from $325 to $200 each, and are used to pay the vet expenses. All dogs are up to date on shots, heartworm negative, spayed or neutered and any known problems are treated before they can be adopted. Last year our vet bills were $3000. higher than our adoption fees, so we are not able to adopt dogs without an adoption fee.
