Every bit as sweet as her name, 5.5 month old Honey has quite a story to tell about her life so far. More about that in a minute . . . . Our petite sweetheart weighs a trim 34 pounds and is full of puppy zest for life. How she loves running and playing in her foster family’s back yard! Honey is a friendly, affectionate and sensitive pup who, given a half a chance, is happy to try and snuggle up in your lap for some loving. Be forewarned: she’s impossible to resist! Rather submissive, Honey politely defers to canine buddies. She’s crate trained and putting the finishing touches on her housetraining in her foster home.
Happily, this gentle young soul’s journey in life led her to Safe Harbor and on her way to a loving forever home . . . something that didn’t look possible when Honey was a wee pup. At seven weeks old she and her six littermates where thrown out the window onto the highway from a fast moving truck. Honey miraculously survived and was immediately rescued by a passerby. Perhaps she is such a loving little girl because her heart carries all the love of her siblings who were not so lucky.
