My Story

Homer (04-140) is a handsome tri-colored hound from the Washington-Wilkes Animal Shelter. This 3 year-old is up-to-date on his vaccinations and is neutered. He tested positive for heartworms and has completed treatment. Homer is a VERY laid-back dog! He gets along with people and dogs, but no small children please. He's kind of shy at first, but if you love on him, he eats it up. He uses the dog door and has only had a couple of accidents. He is a really good-looking basset - large-boned. Homer will make someone a wonderful pet. He is a bit of a drooler and tends to drool mostly in the car even though he really likes to ride. He's a quiet boy and doesn't bark much. Homer likes to chew on boxes (?) and would rather be petted than play. For more photos and for information on adopting this dog, please visit http://www.bhrg.org.
