ADOPTED! - Hi, everybody! My nickname is Hobo, and I was rescued as an unclaimed shelter stray. Can you believe that my owner never came to claim me? I am very loving and friendly and well behaved..... Why didn't they come looking for me? Well, anyway......I'm at least safe now, and my New Year's wish is for a loving owner to adore me, feed me good food, and give me a nice soft pillow to sleep on--or, better yet, to let me sleep with them in their bed. (I make a great foot warmer on a cold winter night!) I am about a year of age so I have my whole--hopefully happy--life ahead of me. I only weigh 8 pounds, so I fit just perfectly on a lap! I'm good with cats and female dogs, and would love to have a little girl doggie playmate. Because I'd prefer not to be a "latchkey" dog, I'd be great for a retired couple or for someone who works just part time or who works out of their home. Although I'm good with kids, my foster family is afraid that a small child might inadvertently hurt me because I'm so tiny, so they are looking for an adults-only family to adopt me (or at least, a family whose kids are 12 or older). I'd also love to have a safely fenced yard to play in (please, no invisible fencing). My adoption fee is $250, and I've been neutered, heartworm tested, microchipped, immunized, and wormed.
