Look at that face!!!! Have you ever seen a more smily dog? That is Hercules personality; happy, joyous, curious, active, loving. He is just happy to be alive! Hercules is 10 years old but don't let that fool you; he is very active and full of energy. Hercules would love to live with an active family who will take him for walks and outings.

Hercules was given to rescue when his owner could not keep him anymore. He was well taken care of and loved. Hercules is housetrained.

Hercules is neutered, utd shots, dewormed, heartworm tested. Our adoption donation for adult dogs is $200.. We require an adoption application, references, adoption contract and home visit. We only adopt to families in SD, MN, NE, ND, IA.

Important things to know before you contact us:

If you are out of state, it does take time to process your application and find a home visitor from another rescue to do your visit. Please be SERIOUS about adopting a dog from our rescue before submitting an application.

The application is the first step. After we receive and approve a completed application, we will schedule a home visit.

Almost Home is run from foster homes. We have no facility for the public to come in and view pets.

We do not ship our dogs.
