Meet Henry [the Hippo?]! Henry is a 1 1/2 year old bully mix. He is 90 pounds and potentially still growing. Henry was found dumped in a neighborhood in Tampa where he sat in the same bush for 3 days before we were able to save him and get him safely to his foster home. He has been so shut down after being treated this way, but he’s been coming around more and more every day. He is so gentle and shy and just needs to be continually showed loved so he can develop trust in humans again. He has been non reactive to cats and dogs in his foster home, but so far doesn’t interact with them much. As he gains his trust in humans he has begun to follow his foster dad around and give him kisses. He just needs time and patience and love!
