Henry

Henry is an approximately 9 year old, neutered Dachshund. He is current on vaccinations and worming. Recently shifted into a Wags to Riches foster home, Henry is fast learning what the good life is all about.

Timid at first, Henry has definitely warmed up to everyone! Very intelligent, he follows your voice and gives you a look like “Are you talking to me?” Henry recently had several teeth removed, but you’d never know based on his love of toys! Henry does exhibit possessiveness over rawhide or similar chewies, so they have been completely eliminated. He does not demonstrate any aggression whatsoever to his food dish, his people, his toys or other dogs. Cats do pose an increased amount of curiosity, so we recommend a home without cats.

Henry knows several commands including sit, up, and down. He does very well on a leash and loves to go for a ride in the car. Henry cannot be crated. We think that he may have been left in a crate entirely too long previously and now experiences immense anxiety when crated. He is housetrained and loves to go outside to keep you company on a nice day.
